Avoid more toys!
More adventures instead of more toys!
As a parent of five kids, I could not agree more with this picture!
BTW: Adventures are also great, because then you don’t have to argue for about 18 years a) who cleans up the kid’s room, b) how often this is done, c) what happens if this is not done, and d) you avoid the huge debates with your partner which rules apply
Great adventures in Munich (only some examples):
- Excursion to the Englischer Garten (totally free and for the Biergartens you can bring your own food! – but not the drinks)
- Jahreskarte of Deutsches Museum
- Jahreskarte of Tierpark Hellabrunn
- Annual membership vdini Club
- Excursion to Nymphenburger Schloss
Also for adults, it can be really nicer to do something with friends instead of buying new stuff for us.
