If you buy soil, please always search for „Torffreie Blumenerde“.

Also the AWM sells now „torffreie“ Blumenerde made out of the Biomüll compost from Munich.
„Torf“ will disappear, it’s not sustainable if we use if for our flower pots and in our gardens.
BTW:
Most of the „Torfmoore“ in Germany are now protected areas, often it’s now imported from other countries (which makes it even worse, because it needs to get transported to Germany from other countries).
